At Together Achieving Excellence, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to build the skills necessary for a successful and independent future.
The Path to Independence is our structured, trauma-informed framework that helps youth progress from stabilization to independence through consistent support, therapeutic interventions, life skills development, and positive reinforcement.
Rather than focusing solely on behavior management, we teach youth how to build healthy habits, make responsible decisions, regulate emotions, and prepare for adulthood.
Each youth progresses at their own pace while receiving individualized support from our multidisciplinary team
Stabilize
The first phase focuses on helping youth establish stability through a structured, trauma-informed environment. During this stage, youth learn to develop healthy routines, build trusting relationships, and begin managing their emotional and behavioral health.
Grow
Once stability is established, youth begin developing the skills needed to become more independent and self-sufficient. This phase emphasizes responsibility, problem-solving, and preparing for success in everyday life.
Independence
The final phase prepares youth for successful transition into less restrictive environments by strengthening independence, leadership, and self-advocacy. Youth are encouraged to apply the skills they have learned while planning for their future.
